It is not just about buying and selling!

This year, 2020, marks a significant milestone for SEGACHEM, as this is our 25^th anniversary, i.e., we have been in operation for 25 years since our humble beginning back in 1995!

While we are not as established as our Partners, nor do we boast a long successful track record; we are however, diligently improving ourselves year by year, to be a stable and well-regarded company.

With Year 2020 being the Year of the Golden Rat, which also marks the beginning of the new Chinese zodiac cycle, we hope that we would be able to rise and shine with a series of new measures undertaken to ensure that we would be able to achieve target 20/20!

Our new initiative, “Beyond Chemistry” is one of these new measures and this is launched together with our new refreshed website, as you are seeing now!

It is most unfortunate that with the COVID-19 situation, most of our new measures will be delayed till May, particularly in the area of market development and expansion. However, we remain positive that this is the period for us to plan and to execute when we are back in full operational status!

What is “Beyond Chemistry”? Is it something intangible? Is it something abstract? Or is it something that is just a make belief, a marketing gimmick?

To us, “Beyond Chemistry” is the building of relationship with our Partners, Customers, Collaborators and Staff. If we can all work together, through our strengths in synergies, we believe we will be able to create a big enough force to create a difference, a win-win situation for all!

We have to look “Beyond” (which is more than, exceeding), in our “Chemistry” (our products which are all Chemistry based) and to also focus on developing “Chemistry” (the complex interaction), between our Partners, Customers, Collaborators and Staff!

Hence, it is not just about buying something from our Partners, working with our Collaborators and Staff, in selling this something to our Customers!

We have to go beyond just Demand & Supply, by working on needs, on what matter most, on their voices, on the intrinsic details and to observe and understand the unspoken.

We have to empathize and work on respect and trust in supporting what is necessary and promised.

We have to establish not just a business network, but also a social one to celebrate success and achievement.

Thus, we have to be Steadfast, Engaging, Growing and Agile (SEGA) in order to go “Beyond Chemistry”!!

Covid-19

With the announcement by the Singapore Government yesterday (21 April 2020), the Circuit Breaker as originally introduced, will be extended till 1 June (day inclusive).

Business will continue as usual and we can still access our emails and calls. We will only be back in the office on the 2^nd June (Tuesday) barring any further Government measures or otherwise.

Stay healthy, stay vigilant and do Stay Home! Take care!

COVID-19 STATEMENT

In view of the recent stringent measures undertaken by the Singapore Government with regards to the rising COVID-19 pandemic in Singapore, SEGACHEM is supportive and is complying to these strict guidelines to eliminate the spread of this virus and improve on the overall situation here in Singapore.

As such, we will be undertaking the following:

Business will continue as usual, although responses may be slightly delayed.
All of our staff is working from home from 7 April to 4 May, both days inclusive, unless otherwise advised. They can still access their emails and provide any information or assistance as required.
Our Warehouse and Transporters in Singapore are still operational as they are essential service providers. We are still able to make delivery of goods, but please do give us advance notice (at least 2 working days) for the arrangements to be made.
Our Office at Ubi Centre, is currently closed and should there be any urgent matters, please do call our office number at (65) 6844 1369. The call will be forwarded to our Office Personnel and they will try to assist as much as they could.
Due to the strict measures undertaken by the Singapore Government that do not allow any gatherings, we are unable to have any face to face meeting, presentation or discussion; nor are we able to carry out any visits to your office/site. These can only be done remotely, via online platforms or via the phone.

We do seek your understanding and support in this difficult time and we are hopeful that the COVID-19 situation will improve and subsequently eliminated.

Please do take good care of yourself and practise good hygiene, wear masks and stay home as far as possible.
